Company Vaccine CERTIFICATED

SHA Plus is an extension of the original SHA standard created by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as part of the COVID-19 control and safety measures to provide confidence amongst both Thai and foreign tourists and customers during their time in Thailand.

The main condition required to qualify for the SHA Plus certification is that 70% of the business’ staff need to have received COVID-19 vaccination and that the highest standards adhering to best practice safety and hygiene are in place.

Sawasdee krub!  We are thrilled to be re-open and to warmly welcome you back! to The Shell Sea Krabi.

To ensure all our wonderful guests will stay safe and healthy, hand gel and face masks are our complimentary gesture. Please respect a physical distance from other guests and engage in additional safe health practices while enjoying your time at our beautiful resort.

Here are some useful practices to keep everyone away from Covid-19.

– Wear face mask whenever you are out of your room.

– Use hand sanitizer very regularly.  It is available throughout the resort.

– Do not shake hands, touch or stay too close to other people.

For your protection, our new Hygiene and Safety procedures for the new travel norms have been assigned.  Here are some of the highlights.

– Our team members have been fully trained and certified on both the enforcement & recommended rules issued by the National Public Health department.

– Some facilities will operated with limited capacity, please feel free to call O for One Touch service if you need further information or assistance.

– Regular fruit juices and soft drinks are available in all bars, but alcoholic beverages are still not allowed to serve.

– Deep cleaning will continue for all surface and paying particular attention to high-touching points such as remote controls and door handles. All drinking glasses will be sanitized with a cleaning machine. Hand sanitizing gel and disposable face masks will be placed in the room or available on request.

– We have generous health benefits for every team members and a strict “DO NOT COME TO WORK SICK” policy has been strictly focused.

– We are operating with cares and under close consultation with provincial public health department, therefore, IR thermal detecting technology is applying to persons visiting the resort premises.  Any detection of high temperature or fever symptoms, will be reported to the designated hospital for further observation.

Blood & Treasure Season 2

It was our great pleasure to welcome Sofia Pernas, Moroccan-Spanish actress, and Matt Barr, American actor star as a mismatched duo on Blood & Treasure’, an American action-adventure drama television series which is premiered on CBS, in Krabi, Thailand filming Season 2 of Blood & Treasure.


Stay tuned for Blood & Treasure Season 2 , it  is expected to release on CBS in May 2020. 

Kinnaree Gold Award 2019 for Luxury Hotel

The ShellSea Krabi won Thailand’s prestigious Kinnaree Gold Award in the category of Luxury Hotel at the “12th Thailand Tourism Awards of 2019” awards ceremony held at Bangkok’s Samyan Mitrtown Hall in September 2019.

The most prestigious Tourism Awards, organized every two years by Tourism Authority of Thailand. The ShellSea Krabi has been awarded for the prize of Kinnaree Gold Award 2019 for The ShellSea Krabi for Luxury Hotel. The awards selection criteria focused on the issue of environmental management, corporate social responsibility as well as the excellent standard of services.

The ShellSea is located on Fossil Shell Beach in Ban Laem Pho district in Krabi.  It is also a geological miracle, one of only three such sites in the entire world and the only one of those three to be found on the coast, one in US and another in Japan. 15 mins from Aonang Beach, the 3 year-old property is positioned as a luxury boutique resort.

This year, the accommodation awards are divided into four categories: Location Hotels, Luxury Hotel, Resort and Design Hotel.

The Thailand Tourism Awards are part of TAT’s ongoing efforts to upgrade standards of the country’s tourist destinations, to promote creativity, encourage environmentally friendly tourism practices and to ensure the Thai tourism and hospitality industry’s competitiveness throughout the world.

A memorable smile for children's day 2020

As “Play” is one of the most important ways in which children learn, it strengthens powers of concentration, essential for a successful future in the classroom, The ShellSea Krabi management and team member has recently delivered presents and created some fun and creative activities to celebrate National children’s day to children at Ban Laempho School in a fun manner and make it memorable for all of them.

 

The ShellSea Krabi together with TAT Stockholm and Norwegian airline

The ShellSea Krabi together with TAT Stockholm and Norwegian airline released 5,000 juvenile blue crabs to the nature, on Fossil Shell Beach, Krabi.

We are pleased to be one of selected destinations for the recent TAT Stockholm media FAM trip. Staff and the management team of the Shellsea Krabi together with journalists and media from Scandinavian countries organized by TAT Stockholm and Norwegian airline joined hands to release juvenile blue crabs, provided by The Royal Initiative Thung Talay Crab Breeds Development and Learning Centre at Lanta Island, Krabi, on Fossil Shell Beach on Tuesday November 19, 2019.

As a geographic site, The Fossil Shell Beach area has seagrasses which are an important nursery ground for food availability and growth of the blue crabs.
